True HDR App Reviews

True HDR works well and produces nicely balance photos. However, in Auto Capure mode the screen says "Hold still while we take THREE pictures". In fact the app only ever takes TWO pictures. I have an iPhone 4 and the latest iOS.

This is one of my favorite photo apps. I love the way it captures the sun and shadow. Occasionally it shuts my tunes down while it is processing a picture but I can live with that. Super easy to use. I havent had any issues with crashes.

This would be a five star app, but in low light settings it makes the picture grainy!!

Really quite exceptional. I think the opportunity to use this app to its potential is quite limited (i.e. It needs to be a still photo [for instance, great with nature shots] where lighting has a negative impact and you have a moment to stand still and take a few photos; really, people looking for that sort of perfect shot probably shouldnt be using a phone to take it anyway!); however, the results have been pretty gorgeous for me. Plus, its easy to use. Im impressed.

Clever app. Good on a tripod for serious photos. Not as good freehand due to two pics being taken not three. Not sure why it says that. Worth the purchase and Ive got some inspiring photos to prove it. Buy it add it to your photigraphic bag in your ipod. Hey that would be cool to add an accesory bag to the app to switch filters and lenses. Maybe for the future.

Works OK for a quick fix on the run.

This is a great HDR camera app, much better then the iphones native feature. The simple mode selection for auto, semi, and manual make it an ease to use. It saves the original pictures which can later be photo manipulated on a home computer.

This app really gives great results! It is the best of its kind yet!!!

Five stars all the way

I use this app quite frequently and have only good things to say about... I cant even think of any suggestions for improvement! The app is very easy to use, and has the ability for both automatic capture or for manual capture. The final HD photo that is created is beautiful and there are further editing options (colour, contrast, etc.) Friends and strangers alike comment on my photos and are shocked when I tell them its all done with the iPhone. Awesome!

Very cool app able to create some very funky images in high contrast or backlit situations

I have used the program to perform HDR processing using RAW files from my Canon DSLR. It does a pretty good job with decent speed. It does force you to turn on location services, which arent relevant in my scenario. It lost a star because of that.

Hands down best HDR app on the market, considerably faster and not as garish as the competion. Handles gradients artfully. Ive tried most of the other HDR apps, and none compare to this one.
